We offer a range of different ways to exercise, to help improve your heart health, fitness and wellbeing, whichever health programme you join.

Exercising in the gym

Independent Gym

Independent gym allows you the flexibility to exercise at your own pace.  There is a session available every day during which you can work through your bespoke programme, fully supervised by a specialist exercise instructor on hand to give advice and encouragement.

Class based exercise

Class-based exercise is an hour-long class working at the same level, warming up together then completing a series of exercises on the machines before cooling down together.

Heartbeat

Heartbeat is a group dance-based class to music.  With lots of upbeat rhythms and fun moves, it is a great way to get your heart pumping. Fully supervised.

Tai chi is a Chinese ‘meditative’ martial art practiced for self-defence and health, with slow, intentional movements. It is a form of gentle exercise with benefits for mental and physical health.

Enjoy the benefits of the great outdoors whilst enjoying some cardiovascular fitness.  This is a circuit based exercise class using limited equipment supervised by an instructor.
