Spring Ball a Success

Metnor Construction and a host of local companies support Cardiac Rehab Annual Ball to raise £1000s for charity supporting local people recovering from heart disease

On Saturday 18th May Cardiac Rehab held its Annual Ball at The Alton Maltings.The Spring themed Ball was sponsored by Metnor Construction, the principal contractor for the new Alton Sports Centre.

The charity is delighted to announce that £6,500 was raised, with Gift Aid on the various donations yet to be claimed.

Cardiac Rehab would like to thank the many local businesses who gave their support and the individuals who gave so generously to the auction and the raffle.Special thanks go to; The Alton Maltings, Williams Catering, Charlie Bateman (Solo Artist), Peep Inside of Liphook, The Bespoke Bar Co., Triple fff Brewery, Gorilla Spirits Ltd, The Fur & Feathers of Herriard, The Lordington Farm Shop, Majestic Wine, Mill Farm Organic Farm Shop, Black Nest Golf Club, Four Marks Golf Club, Hattingley Valley Wines, The Anchor Inn, Lower Froyle and Alton Sainsburys.

Denise Ellis, Centre Manager, would especially like to thank Jerry Janes who did a fabulous job as Auctioneer, Joan Mossop and Angela Milligan for their help with the organisation, and, Cardiac Rehab Exerciser Chris Burns who entertained the guests with his balloon artistry. A special thank you also to the volunteers who helped on the day and at the event.
